Speaking of bows, the one Iruma eventually came up with after Alicred's pep talk is absolutely sick. The addition of the wings is such an elegant representation of his desires as a human in the underworld and it's just so cool.

Usually you don’t you tend to carry a back up weapon (usually a knife or dagger or something but depending on how your bow is designed there could be a blade attached or you could stab them an arrow you were about to fire

Though that would technically be point blank range and depending on your reaction speeds you could notch and fire or fire a prenotched arrow as they try to gain ground

Essentially it’s entirely dependent on your accuracy, speed and positioning but then that can go for most weapons
